OSHAWA, Ontario — Members of the Durham Region Home Builders’ Association (DRHBA) paid tribute to some of the finest in the industry at a gala celebration. “Our members keep on top of the latest trends, technological advances and state-of-the-art building practices to provide customers with the best products at competitive prices,” said Snider. The esteemed panel of judges included: Sandy Ryrie, retired Durham Regional Police officer; John Shaver, Flick Creative; Marissa McTasney, Moxie Trades; Julie Rennie, Windreach Farm; Darrin Caron, Durham College; Gord Mackey, Whitby Chamber of Commerce; Christine Marquis, Durham Region Association of Realtors; and Joel Scopelleti, Carick Home Improvements.The 2012 Awards of Excellence Committee included DRHBA executive officer Donna Donaldson and association directors Jennifer Hurd, Steve DeBoer and Kevin Stewart. Keynote speaker was Doug Tarry, president of the Ontario Home Builders’ Association. Emcees were Benny Caringi and Enza Checchia.
